SWEET SPOT - $1736

"Sweet Spot" is inspired by the famous golf courses of the world like Pebble Beach, Pine Valley, Augusta National, among many others. Golf balls that have been used on courses all over the world have been collected to use in my art. The golf ball logos have been carefully preserved to highlight some of the finest crafters of golf balls and they have been sliced to show the inner beauty hidden between the layers. Titleist, Callaway, Nike, TaylorMade, as well as many others brands are found on my canvases. The soil and stains from the golf courses on which these balls were played still remains to show their weary "skin" juxtaposed against their colorful beauty on the inside.

When looking at this art piece you feel a sense of excitement and enthusiasm as well as a sense of wonder about the history of the golf balls. Who played these balls? What courses have they seen? Where in the world have they been? Were they ever in the Masters Tournament or the U.S. Open?

Golfers, sports enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates the colorfulness and uniqueness of this art piece will enjoy seeing it adorn the walls of a country club, a golf club, the office, or at home.

One thing that can't be seen in the photos is the sparkly glass shards within the drips of paint going down the center. The glass sparkles as you walk by and it's extraordinary.
